Twists & Turns of Life!!

You showed me how childhood days look!
You showed me what is adolescent!
You even showed me the meaning of friends!
You didn't forget to make me understand the essence of love
And its need for the manhood!!

You also taught me the need for knowledge
And its richness in this world!
You helped me to strike a good balance between emotions & knowledge!
You also helped me to strike a good balance between my personal & work life!!

But, having done so much good for me, why are you now taking a twist?
Do you want me to show the bitterness of life?
Do you want me to learn to take bad things in the right stride?
Do you really think I am capable of digesting these hard times??

Yes, Now I understand 'Life is a bed of roses'..!!
So far I have only enjoyed the fragrance of the petals...
You are now showing me how it feels when the thorns prick!
I am sure that the fragrance is also somewhere around..
And I am not far from success...!!!
