Dynamic Ladies...!!!

This was an article written by me in my office on the ocassion of Internation Women's Day - 10th Mar, 2010...

Women in general have loads of chores to do when compared to men. I am not trying to portray men as inferior to women. No definitely not. Men have their own strengths. But, sticking to the topic of women given here, I would definitely say life is not easy for "working women", as it seems from outside.

My manager Ms.Leena Joshi from my previous organization, TCS was a gr8 dynamic lady. The work-life balance that she strikes, is amazing. She gives ample time to her kids and in-laws. And at the same time, makes sure that all her delivery is on time with gr8 quality. The bonding that she has with the team members really lets her to achieve all these. I would definitely like to group up both in my personal and career life like her..!!

IBM is no less in producing such vibrant ladies..! My previous assignment manager in IBM, Srujana K Danda, was one such vibrant lady. As we all know, IBM is known to be the best place for ladies to work. And I am sure, my manager explored IBM to the fullest and produced gr8 results. She has also inspired me a lot in my day-to-day work.

Definitely a mention would goto one of my colleague in IBM, Roopa Kantamneni for showing her excellent work-life balance. I have learnt a lot from her, when I worked with her.

No wonder, there are lot many gr8 women leaders but I would definitely like to thank these 3 people in particular here for they have groomed me to what I am today!
