Trainings can also be this interesting..!!!

This morning, when I went to the office, my supervisor asked me to attend a training...I was shocked...U know how trainings can be boring...so, i was in the impression that its going to be one full-day of sleepy sessions...Then, I inquired about the trainer and the topic of discussion. The topic was quite interesting...It was "Networking concepts" which was one of my favorite subjects when I was in my final year of my degree course...And I was told that the faculty has come from mumbai to Bangalore especially to take this training...Hmmm...I was not mentally prepared to take the training today...With this in mind, I entered the training room disinterested...As the faculty came in, I reliased he was a very experienced person in TCS, with all grey beard...Yes, he introduced himself with such a big degree behind him and some big network certification....The most interesting part was that he said he has been in the telecom domain in the IT industry for the past 20+ years and that too he consciously chose to be in the technical as he didn't like management...This aroused some interest in me...something in him automatically demanded respect from everyone...may be the way he spoke or may be the profound knowledge that he has got...I dont know...he truly was a gem in his own ways...To be frank, I have definitely attended better trainings than this, I mean the way of delivery...but I have never come out of the training room with such a happy and satisfied mind...

Well, as I have quit my current job, I am taking things at my ease...I am going to the office at around 10 or 10.30 in the morning and returning back by 5 or 5.30 in the evening....I just goto the office, check my mails, do some KT (Knowledge Transfer) and return back home leisurely...Life to me is going very cool...and I am eagerly waiting for my last day in my current organisation. However, though the time spent in my office is very less since I dont have much work, I felt very bored and monotonous to goto the office...I want to spend some solid time with my baby...So, I was like literally counting my days with my current organisation...In this scenario, this training brightened my day today at my office...!!!!!
